Welcome To Kaisen

The Kaisen Trust was established in 2007 to assist the  Hawke’s Bay community.  The Trust has been involved in organising various charitable events, such as Hawke’s Bay Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Easter Fest and the Hawkes Bay Cox Partners Christmas at the Park.

Kaisen Trust was named after the Japanese principle of “Kaizen”. Kaizen means “continuous improvement”. It comes from the Japanese words “kai” which means “change” or “to correct” and “zen” which means “good”. Kaizen is a system that involves every person in an organisation.  Everyone is encouraged to come up with small improvement suggestions for the organisation on a regular basis.  In most cases these are not ideas for major changes.  Kaizen is based on making little changes on a regular basis.

Likewise, the Kaisen Trust is continuously working to make constant improvements in every area of its operation, to maximise the benefits for the community it serves.
